Steve Tracas President & CEO

STEVE TRACAS
President & Chief Executive Officer

Steven Tracas is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vacation.com - North America's Largest Vacation Selling Network - with member locations throughout the United States and Canada. Tracas joined Vacation.com in 2006.

Tracas has an extensive background within the travel industry with experience in distribution, electronic commerce, online sales and aviation. Prior to joining Vacation.com, Tracas served as President of Orbitz for Business, based in Chicago. Orbitz for Business was the first corporate travel program launched by an online agency. Tracas was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business including strategy, business development, technology, marketing and sales. In 2004, Orbitz for Business received the Chicago Sun-Times Innovation Award.

Before joining Orbitz, Tracas served as Vice President for US Airways from 1997-2004. While at US Airways, Tracas led the team that developed usairways.com which was recognized by eMarketer and NPD New Media Services as the #1 airline Web site. Tracas was also responsible for corporate and travel agency sales, airline distribution, electronic commerce, marketing and global cargo operations.

Previously, Tracas held a number of leadership positions during his 19-year career with AMR Corporation including positions at American Airlines and the Sabre Group. He joined AMR in 1978 and held positions in San Francisco, Austin, Seattle, Los Angeles and Dallas, progressing to Managing Director Passenger Sales for American Airlines covering the Western United States.

Tracas also served as Managing Director for the Sabre Group from 1990 until 1995, responsible for agency GDS Sales and training within the Western United States and later oversaw Sabre's National Account agency program.

Tracas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Technology from Arizona State University in Tempe. His wife Stevi and their two daughters reside in Reston, Virginia.

Jared Braunstein

JARED BRAUNSTEIN
Vice President of Strategic Accounts & Initiatives

Jared Braunstein is Vice President of Strategic Accounts & Initiatives for Vacation.com. In this position, Braunstein's responsibilities include supporting and maintaining relationships with Vacation.com's key travel agency accounts, strategy sessions with accounts, educating members on the benefits of Vacation.com and new member acquisition.  Braunstein is also responsible for managing the relationship, including all projects and initiatives, between Vacation.com and its parent company, Amadeus.
 
Prior to joining the Vacation.com team, Braunstein served in a number of different capacities at SPACE, Travel Agents Marketing Consortium, including Vice President of Sales, National Account Manager and Regional Account Manager.
 
Braunstein holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a JD from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida.

Tiffany Glass

TIFFANY GLASS
Vice President of Ecommerce and Technology

Tiffany Glass is Vice President of Ecommerce and Technology for Vacation.com. In this role, she oversees the ecommerce solutions used by Vacation.com members, including AgentNet's content and applications, Engagement and EZguider. With 20 years experience in software, Internet and systems leadership, Glass also is responsible for Vacation.com's internal Information Technology operations.

Before joining Vacation.com in February 2007, Glass was Managing Director for US Airways Ecommerce and Interactive Marketing. There she managed usairways.com, which generated $4 billion in annual revenue for the company.

Glass holds a B.S. in Econometrics and French from Wake Forest University and an MBA in International Trade from George Washington University. She served in the U.S. Peace Corps in the Central African Republic for 2 years teaching mathematics, and has visited more than 80 countries. She is fluent in Russian, French and Sango, and has lived long term in Russia, Switzerland, France, and Africa.

Christine James

CHRISTINE JAMES, CTM
Vice President, Canada

In her role as Vice President, Christine James is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Canadian operation. This includes sales, marketing, industry relations, technology, education, training and public relations. James also overseas the activities of our Canadian Business Development Managers.

With over 30 years of travel industry experience, James has played key roles in several aspects of the business including industry relations, marketing, business development, sales and operations. In the past, she has held senior positions with well-known organizations such as American Express Travel (where she was responsible for negotiating their hotel and car programs) and Travel Trust International (where she lead the Business Development team on network development). Just prior to joining Vacation.com, James owned and operated her own consulting firm representing niche market suppliers.

At the time of joining Vacation.com in 1999, James has held the position as Director of National Sales, Canada with responsibility of all sales activity in the region. In 2004, James was promoted to Senor Director of Industry Relations responsible for negotiating and managing all Canadian supplier agreements. in June 2008, James assumed the role Country Manager Canada and most recently has been promoted to Vice President Canada.

Lauraday Kelley

LAURADAY KELLEY, CTC, MCC
Vice President, Conference & Corporate Communications

Lauraday Kelley, CTC, MCC, a 43-year veteran of the travel industry, is Vice President of Conference and Corporate Communications for Vacation.com.
 
At Vacation.com's inception, Kelley was in charge of education and training for the entire Vacation.com  network including the planning of the annual Vacation.com International Conference & Trade Show.  In 2009 Kelley assumed the duties of Corporate Communications and continues her role as head of the conference planning team.
 
Prior to assuming her role with Vacation.com, Kelley, with her husband, operated an agency specializing in group travel. Later, Kelley joined ARTA as Chairman and then President. She then held various staff positions at GEM/CruiseLink, culminating in her appointment as Vice President of Education and Training.  

Kelley's contributions and expertise have been acknowledged with prestigious awards including CruiseLink's "Silver Compass Award"  in 1997, GEM's "Travel Person of the Decade"  in 1995, and GEM's "Gemsetter of the Year" in 1992. In 1994, Kelley was named Travel Trade's "Travel Agent of the Year." In addition, Kelley has been named numerous times to Travel Agent Magazine's "Top 100 Women In Travel" list.
 
Kelley's achievements as an industry specialist and leading travel educator were recognized in December 2003 when she was named Travel Trade's "Travel Educator of the Year."

John Lovell

JOHN LOVELL, CTC
Vice President of Industry Relations

John Lovell serves as Vice President of Sales and Industry Relations for Vacation.com. In this position, Lovell is responsible for all sales activities in the United States and for managing and overseeing preferred supplier negotiations and relationships as well as expanding marketing opportunities.  Lovell's other responsibilities include the Revenue Management and Business Development areas for Vacation.com.

Lovell joined the Vacation.com team in December of 2002 as Director of Business Development and was promoted to Vice President of Sales in May of 2003.  In May of 2006 Lovell assumed responsibility for the Industry Relations, Revenue Management and Business Development departments.

Prior to Vacation.com, Lovell held the position of Director of Travel Industry Sales at ANC Rental Corporation, where he was responsible for all car rental sales activity within the travel agency, tour operator, travel association and government channels.

Previous to his employment at ANC, Lovell served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Renaissance Travel Solutions, where he was responsible for increasing the Baltimore-based tour operator's brand presence by establishing the brand offerings of Adventure Vacations, Sea World Busch Gardens Vacations, Spirit Vacations, Air Tran Vacations and Frontier Airlines Vacations.

Prior to working with Renaissance Travel Solutions, Lovell spent two years at Hertz as Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for the state of Florida and nine years in the tobacco industry working his way up to Global Accounts Director at BAT Industries, while based in London.

Stephen McGillivray

STEPHEN MCGILLIVRAY, CTC
Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations

In his role as Vice President of Marketing, Stephen McGillivray's primary responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day marketing initiatives which encompass designing preferred supplier and marketing communications to the Vacation.com member network, coordinating Vacation.com's trade and consumer advertising campaigns and overseeing the award winning Engagementâ„¢ marketing program.

McGillivray is a former American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) executive with over 20 years of travel industry experience, having spent the majority of his career working closely with travel agents.

Prior to working with Vacation.com, McGillivray was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ASTA. Earlier in his career, McGillivray spent 10 years with Amtrak in various capacities related to travel agent/agency sales and marketing.

Kim Oates

KIM OATES, CTM
Vice President of Finance and Administration

Kim Oates is Vice President of Finance and Administration for Vacation.com.  In this role, Oates is responsible for all financial aspects of the company and as well as adherence to U.S. and international accounting standards. She provides leadership and coordinates the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company. She also oversees business performance and financial reporting, contract management, treasury and risk management functions.

Before joining Vacation.com in March 2001, Oates worked for User Technology Associates, a government contractor based in Arlington, Virginia. Oates’s role as Controller focused on the commercial side of the business. There she managed the financial operations for several start up software companies. 

Previous to her employment at User Technology Associates, Oates worked as Controller for Network Software Associates in Arlington, Virginia from 1995 to 2000. Oates also served as Corporate Secretary, Treasurer, Director, and managed human resources. In her role she led the successful spin-off from the parent company. The company was then successfully positioned for sale as a result of the focus on growing license and maintenance revenue streams. Oates was instrumental in these efforts and led the due diligence and integration process.      

Oates holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Radford University and an MBA from Marymount University.

Karin Viera

KARIN VIERA, CTC
General Manager, Sales

As the General Manager of Sales, Karin Viera oversees Vacation.com's Business Development Managers and Inside Sales Team, who work as consultants with our travel agency partners to grow Preferred Supplier sales. Viera also manages member recruitment and retention.  

Before joining Vacation.com in 2009, Viera previously held the position of vice president of sales, Southeast region, for Carnival Cruise Lines, managing the company’s largest sales region. During her nearly three decades with Carnival, she had a variety of sales-related positions, including inside sales manager, director of sales and national accounts – Western region, and vice president of sales – Eastern region.
 
Viera holds a Certified Travel Counselor designation and earned an associates degree in Marketing from State University of New York.
